02 Who you work with

Hi, I’m George.

I have more than ten years of experience delivering high-performance software. I specialise in rapid, mission-critical development: reliable, efficient systems built to tight deadlines. Much of my work runs in live motorsport, where systems are tested in public and in real time. I bring the same standard to business applications, including Microsoft Dynamics 365.

My work covers the complete lifecycle — requirements with clients and race officials, architecture, development, deployment and support on site — for clients across Europe, North America and Asia.

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Economic Informatics from the University of Economic Studies, Bucharest. I work through Batetastatura, my own company, with clients who need software that performs when it matters.

04 Project · Race control

Race control software, engineered for live sessions.

Race officials make decisions in seconds, and the software in front of them has to be right every time. I design and deliver the systems they rely on: timing, GPS and telemetry from every car merged into one operational view, signals sent to the track and into the cars, and sporting regulations checked automatically as the race unfolds. I take this work from requirements agreed with race directors, through architecture and development, to deployment and live support at the circuit.

What I deliver

Live data fusion

Timing, GPS and telemetry from every car, merged and delivered to every screen in real time.

Trackside and in-car signalling

Flags and messages to light panels, in-car displays and teams, with confirmed delivery.

Automated regulation checks

Sporting rules translated into precise, configurable checks that run for every car, all session.

Timeline and replay

Go to any millisecond of the event: car positions, speed traces, the classification and what each panel and display showed.

Diagnostics

GPS compared with telemetry, and the live status of every trackside panel and in-car device.

Evidence and decision workflow

Incidents with video and data, reports for the stewards, and decisions returned to official timing.

Who uses it

  • Race director & clerk of the courseControl the session, show flags and decide on incidents.
  • StewardsLook at the evidence and give penalties.
  • Race control operatorsWatch the screens and prepare the cases.
  • DriversGet the flags on trackside light panels and on a display inside the car.
  • Timing teamReceive decisions directly in the official timing and results.

05 Project · Warehouse operations

Warehouse software on Microsoft Azure and Dynamics 365.

The same standard, applied to logistics. For a warehouse operator, I build the software that shows the floor what is happening now and lets planners organise the docks: live performance screens on the warehouse floor, and an appointment planner that works directly on Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Both run on Azure, deployed and monitored as production services.

Live warehouse performance screens

Full-screen KPI reports on wall TVs and kiosks across the warehouse. Supervisors and floor staff see the state of each operation at a glance and act on it.

  • About 20 live reports that cover the whole outbound flow: picking, sorting, packing per station, staging and loading, automated storage, unloading appointments and hourly throughput.
  • The figures supervisors act on: open work, quantities, priority work, the next order deadline and active workers per zone.
  • Figures update on the screens within seconds of a change in the warehouse data, with no page reloads.
  • Each screen is set up by its link: language, theme, text size and refresh rate. Unattended screens need no configuration on site.
  • An admin page sets how often each report refreshes, from every few seconds to once an hour, while the system runs.
  • A demonstration mode with realistic sample data, so new reports can be shown and tested without access to live data.

Dock appointment planner on Dynamics 365

A calendar where logistics planners organise truck loading and unloading at each dock. It works directly on the appointment data in Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, so there is no second system to keep in sync.

  • Month, week and day views. The day view shows every dock location, the unassigned appointments and the current time.
  • Planners move and resize appointments in 15-minute steps, or edit the carrier, times, location and notes. Each change is saved to Dynamics 365 at once.
  • Live status for each truck from driver check-in and check-out: scheduled, active, late or complete, in the colours set in Dynamics 365.
  • Works across all the company's legal entities in Dynamics 365.
  • Two planners cannot overwrite each other: an appointment that one planner edits is locked for the others.
  • Sign-in with the company Microsoft account.

06 Why work with me

Experience from environments where failure is visible.

  • Composure under pressure

Years of releasing and supporting systems during live sessions, alongside the officials who depend on them. Issues are diagnosed and resolved methodically, without disrupting the operation.

  • Direct client partnership

I work with stakeholders directly: defining requirements, training operators and remaining the technical point of contact after delivery. Decisions are made with the people who use the system.

  • End-to-end ownership

Architecture, development, deployment, networking, hardware integration and live support, delivered as one accountable service.

07 How I work

Four steps, no surprises.

  1. 01

    Understand

I talk to the people who will use the system, not only to the people who pay for it. Then I write down what “done” means.

  2. 02

    Build

Small, working increments that you can see and test. Plain architecture and code that your team can maintain.

  3. 03

    Deploy & train

Installed, configured and checked on your infrastructure. Your operators learn it hands-on before go-live.

  4. 04

    Support

I stay with the system when it runs for real, and I fix problems fast. Remote or on-site.
